Bio Video Interview Questions for Season 6 Finalists

Season 6 Finalists: help YOBI.tv promote you!

We at YOBI.tv are happy to announce a new promotional opportunity for our Season 6 YOBIAct, YOBIFilm, YOBIPics, and YOBISing Finalists.

Here’s how it will work:

(1) All Season 6 Finalists may post a Bio Video Interview to their YOBI Profile that answers the questions below. Make the video as funny, creative, entertaining, or as serious as you’d like. Just be yourself, and use whatever style you feel shows your true personality.

What or who inspired you to get into your field? (Use acting, filmmaking, photography, or singing as your field, depending on which contest you’re a finalist in.)
Describe your career in your field thus far. Feel free to discuss classes or lessons you have taken, events you have participated in, projects you have worked on, songs or albums you have recorded, recognition you have received, etc.
What is your favorite piece you’ve created and why?
Tell us where you see yourself in 5 years and whether it includes a career in your field.
What would you like to say to your friends and fans voting for you?

(2) Send an email to contact@yobi.tv when your Bio Video Interview is up on your profile and ready to be promoted. Do not skip this step! We won’t promote your video until you tell us it is ready.

(3) Watch the YOBI.tv Facebook and Twitter channels for the post that features you as a Season 6 Finalist, and then use it to promote yourself across your own social media networks.

Lyric Wins Two Indie Channel Music Awards

Congratulations to Teri “Lyric” Green, the winner of two brand spankin’ new Indie Channel Music Awards!

Lyric’s song “Scars” won the Indie Channel Music Awards for Best Rap Recording and Best Rap Song. The song features a haunting mix of Lyric’s rhythmic rapping and Gabrielle Taryn’s soaring vocals. And frankly, I’ve had the song stuck firmly in my head since the first time I heard it.

Lyric had this to say about the experience:

“It was phenomenal because I performed the night prior. As I was walking to take the stage, you could hear people saying things like ‘she’s amazing,’ ‘really talented,’ and ‘she’s a natural star.’ Then they would high-five me — even kids. I felt like I accomplished more than an award. I captured their hearts.”

Luke James Marches On with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins

Take the Stage fan favorite Luke James was in LA this week recording his song “Marching On” with Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. A private recording session with the famous songwriter and producer was part of his prize package for being one of our Take the Stage Season 1 Winners.

“Although, the time in the studio was quick it was really amazing to be able to have this experience with Darkchild. I am excited to see what he does with the final cut of Marching On.” — Luke James
